In this self-portrait, the reflection of my face is barely visible through the smudges and fingerprints on the iPhone’s black screen. Through the immediacy of the camera on my mobile device, I can see my own likeness and my surroundings as images-to-be. When the screen is off, it doubles as a mirror.
